No -fuss chocolate ganache and summer fruit tart
Why is this tart so great? Because it involves NO baking. If I can make it- anyone can. It’s full of flavour, very chocolate-y and simply delicious.
What you will need is:
400g of dark chocolate
4 tbsp of confectional sugar (powdered sugar)
400ml of whipping, heavy cream
400g of chocolate cookies
150 g of unsalted butter
Fruit of your choice- I used blackberries, strawberries, red currants and blueberries. ( they all work well with chocolate because their acidity cuts through the richness of the chocolate.)
Start off by crushing your cookies into fine crumbs. Once they’re crushed, add the melted butter and mix until the mixture resembles wet sand. Once it looks like that, put it in a spring-form tin and press down to the bottom. That’s your crust. Put it in the fridge and let it set.
In the meantime prepare your chocolate filling. Melt the chocolate over a waterbath. Once it’s melted add the cream you’ve warmed before, add the sugar and whisk hard until the mixture is smooth. Poor over your crust and decorate with fruit. Let it set for about 2-3 hours. Then it’s ready to cut. Simply delicious 😉
